The Pesticides Control Act was passed by the National Assembly in 1985 to provide for the control of the manufacture, importation, sale, storage, use and disposal of pesticides. Persons who contravene any provision of Act are guilty of an offense and are liable to fine not exceed $1,000 and/or imprisonment for a period not exceed 12 months.
